A 3D printed handbag has a different character from a soft fabric bag. Its sculptural outer body holds its shape, while raised flowers, arches or other motifs give the surface depth.
The Craft Corner handbag collection uses PLA plastic outer bodies with coordinating inserts. A few gentle habits can help protect the printed detail and keep the bag ready for your next outing.

Keep it away from heat
PLA has limited heat resistance, so store your bag in a cool indoor place away from radiators, heaters and strong direct sunlight. Avoid leaving it in a parked car or on a hot windowsill.
Do not use hot water, steam or a hairdryer to clean or dry the printed body. Heat can alter its shape.
Clean gently
Start with a soft, dry cloth to lift surface dust. For a small mark on the PLA body, try a soft cloth lightly dampened with cool water, beginning on an inconspicuous area. Wipe gently and dry with a clean soft cloth.
Avoid abrasive pads, scraping tools and harsh cleaners. Work carefully around relief details rather than rubbing hard. If a mark does not lift easily, contact us before trying a stronger cleaning product.
Treat the insert as a separate material
The insert's material varies by design. Daisy Bloom includes white faux leather with a gold zipper, while Nocturne includes black faux leather with a black zipper.

Do not assume that cleaning advice for the PLA body also suits the insert. Check any care information supplied with your bag, and contact us if you need advice for its particular lining or fabric. Avoid machine washing or soaking an insert unless the instructions for that item specifically allow it.
Protect the shape and raised details
Place the bag gently on a stable surface. Avoid dropping it, pressing it beneath heavy items or catching its decorative relief on rough surfaces. Do not force a printed handle or motif to bend.
Carry a comfortable selection of essentials and avoid overfilling the insert. If the zipper needs force to close, remove an item rather than pulling harder.
Store it with room around it
Empty the bag before putting it away and make sure it is dry. Store it upright with enough space that neighbouring items do not press against the handle or decorative details. A clean soft cover can help keep dust off without compressing the shape.
Fine layer lines are a normal feature of 3D printing. They are part of the making process and do not need to be scrubbed or sanded away.
Ask before attempting a repair
If a part becomes damaged or you notice a crack, stop using it and contact us with a clear photo. Avoid heat or improvised repairs that could change the shape or finish.
These are general care suggestions for PLA accessories. Follow any item-specific instructions supplied with your purchase. For more about PLA's heat and UV sensitivity, see Prusa's PLA material guide.
